Why Simpol matters to New Zealand. New Zealand society is adversely affected, both directly and indirectly, by many serious problems of international relations. Environmental degradation, climate change, unsustainable resource depletion, arms proliferation, lack of regulation of the globalised economy, social injustice, poverty, human rights abuses, etc.
Simpol offers voters a simple way to use their votes to help remedy this situation. Simultaneous Policy (SP) is a democratic political system designed to bring about constructive cooperation rather than destructive competition between independent nation states.

impol’s origins. Simpol is a new and elegant idea that was launched in the UK by its founder, John Bunzl, about five years ago. It has already met with noticeable success in the British and the European Parliaments.
Simpol-NZ Inc. was launched in New Zealand in November 2006 by Orewa resident, Lady Rhyl Jansen, a former President of WFUNA, the World Federation of UN Organisations, and Hugh Steadman, a Blenheim businessman.
At the inaugural AGM held in September 2007, an Executive Committee was appointed. It consists of Lady Rhyl Jansen (Orewa), Hugh Steadman (Blenheim,) Anthony Bellve (Auckland,) Marion Hancock (Auckland,) Paul Bruce (Wellington.)
